The Woolshed at Jondaryan

The world's oldest working woolshed brings the wool era to life.

Dating to around 1861, Jondaryan is billed as the oldest and largest operating woolshed in the world — a heritage-listed tribute to Australia's wool industry. A recreated station village, agricultural collection and animal nursery surround it.

Time your visit for shearing and blacksmithing demonstrations, then round it off with billy tea and damper at the Damper Hut. A hands-on slice of country history.
