Crows Nest Falls
A 20-metre cascade into a granite gorge, best after rain.
In the granite country north of Toowoomba, Crows Nest Falls plunges 20 metres over boulder-strewn cascades into a gorge ringed by steep cliffs — at its dramatic best after good rain. A walking circuit links lookouts over the falls and the valley.
Swimming isn't allowed at the falls, but nearby Cascade, Kauyoo and Bottlebrush Pools offer sandy-edged paddling and refreshing dips on a hot day.
