Perched on the crest of the Great Dividing Range, Picnic Point is Toowoomba's signature lookout, gazing out over the Main Range and Lockyer Valley far below. The 160-acre parkland wraps around it with lawns, gardens, walking tracks and a waterfall feature with stepping stones.
There's a cafe, playgrounds and shady picnic spots, making it equally good for a sunrise coffee or a lazy afternoon. Sunrise here is unbeatable.
